Greyson's 1st (big) Haircut!
I've cut Greyson's hair at least 3 times before now. But never this much! He now has a little boy haircut as opposed to a baby haircut. So sad! I tried cutting it while he was playing on the patio but he did not like that at all. So we waited until he was asleep and I cut it while he slept in Stephen's arms. We didn't see the end result until the next morning when he woke up- it was quite a shock! I was worried all his curls would be cut off but as you can see- he still has a few!

My boys and their hair...
My boys are obsessed with their hair. It's quite a task to get them to cut it. They want cool, rock n roll, punky cuts but Steve & I want short little proper Mormon boy cuts. This is our compromise. Yes, these are after they got their hair cut. Like nailing Jell-O to a tree I tell you! But hey!
You can actually see Austin's handsome face now!
"Bruiser Baby"
Not only does he inflict pain upon himself, he also loves to abuse everyone else too. He'll find Austin's drumsticks lying around and will crawl up to you and WHACK you with it! Numerous times! In the face! Who knew we'd have such an abusive baby?! It's hard to stay mad at a baby as cute as this:
Zoo Zoo Zoo!
We took Greyson to the zoo for the first time on Friday. He loved it! When he'd notice an animal, he'd get really animated- it was so cute! When he saw the black bear taking a nap, he just started blabbing like crazy! We had never heard him talk so much. I think Austin & Miles enjoyed the zoo too- although they weren't quite as animated as their baby brother.

Stephen Graduated (again)!!!
Greyson's 1st Birthday
We had a wonderful time celebrating Greyson's 1st birthday along with Oma for her 80th birthday. We took him down to Lake Washington so he could throw rocks in the water. Then we had a huge family party at Oma & Opa's house. Greyson was a bit overwhelmed and wanted nothing to do with his cake (strange baby). But I'm sure he had a good time.
Nana was there too- she surprised Oma (her mom) by driving up with Becca & her family. It was a great time! We drove by the places we used to live and the boys' old elementary school. ♫♪ Memories... ♪♫ We really miss Seattle but love that we can visit whenever we want- it's only 3 hours away!
I still can't believe my baby boy is a year old already...
